I liked working on the projects in the course. And one really important reason was that I was able to choose the topic. Because of that I had more fun on the project and could work on products like the camera, that I always wanted to do.
Another aspect that I liked was the Infographic part. I think that graphics, in general details of a presentation, are making a project round and complete. It also helps to create a special mood around a product. I also like the fact to communicate facts or background information in a funny or cool way.
In general I liked working on the projects and preparing a presentation around the products. I learned in the class that my way how to present a product was always different than the others in class.
In days of internet, blogs and a fast communication between continents I haven't thought that the working process and the presenting style would be so different.

11/30 // Blogging
In general Blogging is a very cool way to communicate with others.
I actually started a blog about my US trip, but it just didn't worked. And as you can see on this blog, the posts are most of the time posted a few dates after the actual date.
It was hard for me to remember to blog and my US trip blog totally died. Seeing everytime new things, getting in new situations and just experiencing studying abroad makes it really hard to stay focused on blogging.
I used blogs in the past very often for communicating hobbies like photography or for projects. Blogs are also a great tool to get inspired.

11/23 // Personal Eval
I learned this quarter to stand up for my stuff and my way to work.
I also worked on a teamproject for the whole project. Normally I only work as a team during the research. So this was a really goot experience for me. Especially for the reason, that the team wasn't only ID people. Hearing the opinion about the own project from the view of a graphic designer helped me a lot to find different ways to get to the solution.
And at the end I can say, that teamproject are more fun than working alone. We always talked about our projects in our semester, and worked in the same room. That was always fun, and I really liked it. But working on the same topic and having more than 1 mind thinking of it, is totally more fun!
So I think, I learned more about myself, surviving in a foreign country, than specific new skills.

11/09 // Review Goals
I never have specific goals at the beginning of a quarter - more general goals. I think learning english and trying to open up have been goals for studying abroad.
I was more excited, how will I work with my skills at a foreign university. Just breaking the comfort zone of the own university and seeing how people work with a different background.
And I survived it!

10/28 // Good Design
Good design is first of all a personal opinion. It depends on culture, way of life and personal taste.
If we speak of good design in products, I think that generally Good Design is never an accident or luck. Even very minimal and pure design can be hard work.
For me, Good Design is the emotional, transparent and unconscious aspect of a product. And that is also the reason why it's so hard to describe it. Creating a feeling to want sth really badly in a product is very hard.
